Contemporary art and music and fine dining at Six Senses Ibiza

2 July

HaSalon restaurant at Six Senses Ibiza has prepared a mouth-watering double event for 2 July.

'The Water Dancer' is a live art installation by Israeli artist, Eyal Geber. The work uses art and technology to imagine the future, in doing so, turning the venue’s already impressive sunset vista into a unique transformational experience for the spectator.

The same evening there will be a special dinner set to music by the virtuoso multimedia artist, Rosey Chan. Her concerts incorporate state-of-the-art sound technology and cinematic visual effects.

Don’t miss the chance to catch two unique cultural offerings in a gorgeous setting!

Workshops at Nobu Rooftop

5 & 13 July

Nobu Rooftop’s much-vaunted Rooftop series continues this month with two unique offerings. First off, on 5 July, we have a conscious sexuality workshop run in tandem by Wumanas, a female-led art collective, and the 5th House, a conscious sexuality platform. Come along for the chance to explore and empower your sexuality!

The second event, SUCO Sessions, takes place on 13 July. SUCO is an immersive meditation experience combining breathwork, dancing and ancient science-based practices with electronic music. What with the Rooftop’s breath-taking views over Talamanca Bay and the presence of the full moon tonight, this promises to be an unmissable occasion!

traditional Ibizan folk dancing in Santa Eulalia

9 & 23 July

Enjoy the highly picturesque spectacle of typical Ibizan folk dances, known in Ibicencan as ball pagés, (farmer’s dance) at Plaza España, the main square in Santa Eulalia, in front of the Town Hall.

The traditional dances at Santa Eulalia are a marvellous opportunity to witness a centuries-old tradition here on the islands in which every detail - whether it’s the dances, the instruments or the costumes – gives you a fascinating insight into rural folklore and the islands’ millenarian culture.

Lust for Laughs at Pikes Ibiza

1 & 29 July

Fans of stand-up comedy will be chuffed to hear that Lust For Laughs at Pikes Ibiza, just outside San Antonio, is hosting not one but two events this coming month.

The first event, featuring George Zahcharopoulos and Lluis Vendrell, takes place on July 1. So, come down with your friends for a chuckle, the chance to heckle and drinks. You can reserve your seats here.

LIVE MUSIC @Sa Caleta Restaurant

Every Tuesday evening

For a truly magical evening, head over to the enchanting, shaded garden of Sa Caleta Restaurant, in the municipality of San José. Known as "Es Jardí", this super romantic spot is perfect for listening to live music while partaking of some fine seafood dishes, the house’s speciality.

As it’s very popular with locals and visitors alike, table reservation is strongly advised.

Eva Beresin art show at La Nave Salinas Foundation

16 July

This summer’s exhibition at La Nave Foundation in Las Salinas marks a first for the art gallery in that it is the first time a female artist has shown their work there. The exhibition will feature a series of self-portraits by the Hungarian artist, Eva Beresin, who is based in Vienna. It will run from 16 July to the end of September.

Our Lady of Carmen Patron Saint Festivities

16 July

Saint Carmen is the Patron Saint of fishing communities and mariners. On the island, she is celebrated in Ibiza Town, San Antonio, Es Cubells, Portinatx and Formentera. The day’s events include a mass in the local church, boat processions – look out for the tiny fishing craft known locally as llaüts - and music.

Sunset Live Music Sessions

For those who prefer their sunsets with groove, this month features two stand-out venues.

Kumharas, the super chilled-out beach club with stunning sunset views situated in San Antonio Bay is hosting its popular sunset sessions every Sunday and Tuesday throughout the summer. Go for the vibe, a dance, yummy international fare from their food trucks or the perfect cocktail to round off a hard day’s holidaying! Each week different artists perform.

It’s not possible to make a reservation, so make sure you get there early to secure your place to enjoy the concert and the sunset.

Splash out on an unforgettable one-off sunset experience at Seven Pines Ibiza, in the municipality of San Jose. This luxury resort with stunning views of the islet of Es Vedrà hosts a unique sunset ritual in its Cone Club, a magnificent terrace with a 270-degree panoramic view.

Come to savour a sumptuous dinner or just drop in for some drinks or cocktails and soak up the atmosphere as you admire the vistas from one of Ibiza’s top sunset viewpoints.
