The return of Ibiza's dancefloors | Week three

Round-up from 21 to 25 October.

Already, we're two weeks back into the dance and it's like we never stopped!

The clubs that have opened already, Eden, Octan and DC10, have been firing on all cylinders. It's been a thing of beauty being back on the dancefloor surrounded by good vibes and we've experienced some genuinely unforgettable dancefloor moments.

One final, extended weekend lays in store, but with the opening, and closing, of Amnesia it's the biggest one yet.

Thursday 21 October

Last Thursday at Eden was an absolute hoot. Roger Sanchez still doing the business behind the decks at 54 year's young. This Thursday, we start the long weekend with Bushwacka!, Davina Moss, Defex, Eli Rojas and the rest of The Zoo Project family, as UNITY takes over Eden.

Community spirit and the power of individuals coming together as a collective, is the message behind the party. We are stronger together than apart. €35 tickets available here.

We make that a nice little warm up to what's coming later in the weekend.

Elsewhere, Los Suruba begin their winter Nazca showcases at Las Dalias, with a proper dancefloor and inside for the first time.

Friday 22 October

Now we start getting serious. It's a big one. After 23 months closed, Amnesia throws open its doors for an Opening Party of all opening parties.

Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, Skream, Enzo Siragusa, Syreeta and plenty more are locked in for that one, for a party that runs for 11 hours, 18:00 to 05:00.

Saturday 23 October

Open one night; shut the next. Two mammoth parties in the space of 48 hours. It could only happen on Ibiza.

Unfortunately, the Closing Party has long been sold out. Sorry! But if you were lucky enough to secure tickets way back, you're in for a good one. Jamie Jones, The Blessed Madonna, Adam Beyer, Alfredo and more - it's quite the line-up.

Missed out? You're not alone. Thankfully, Eden continues with WNDRLND. Adam Wilson, Danny Barry, Juanito Chanclas, Perry Martin, Vive and a special guest on the decks.

Even more intimate, LiFT is back at NUI Ibiza with Callum Ashton, Dave Mantra, Jeremy Weeks and Luigi Rossi.

Earlier on of course, we have something a little more chilled that might be the ideal filler between both Amnesia events.

Sunset bar and restaurant Café Mambo closes on the Sunset Strip on Saturday evening. What better way to revitalise the mind, body and soul, by watching this natural wonder?

This will be well-attended, so make a booking or arrive early. Sun sets just after 19:00.

Sunday 24 October

Last weekend, Octan awakened from hibernation, and if that was anything to go by, we know where we're headed on this night. Round two sees Matthias Tanzmann, East End Dubs, Kellie Allen and Francisco Allendes in control of the Basement. Click here for tickets.

Anybody who was there on Saturday will attest that Anna Tur has set the bar very high already this summer.

Monday 25 October

That's about it, right? Wrong. We end on what might be the maddest of them all. Circoloco wrap up its series of three at DC10 with a stonker of a line-up.

Dixon, Maceo Plex, Peggy Gou, Seth Troxler, Solomun and Sven Väth are all confirmed for that one.

While the queues were practically non-existent this Monday compared to the one before, we have a feeling that line-up is going to draw the masses again. That, plus with it being the last big party until New Year's Day, demand is going to be off the chart. Get down early and come loaded with patience. No pre-sale. Runs from 17:00 to 05:00.

We could be tempted to say, with Circoloco closing party comes the end of summer. And while that's technically correct, we have a huge Halloween programme coming up next week.

Normally we would have one or two weeks downtime in between, but that isn't the case in 2021. Keep your eye out for our Halloween round-up dropping soon.
