A veritable journey through the flavours of Mexico, Tacosanto is located on the bustling main street of Playa den Bossa. It has a shaded outdoor terrace overlooking the street that is ideal for people watching, and a spacious interior lounge with long tables that are perfect for large groups. There's also direct access to a pool area with a terrace, where fun Mexican parties are held.

One aspect of Tacosanto that's really worth checking out is its exceptional décor. Both the colourful murals and the two signs with luminous letters are totally Instagrammable. Notice, too, the skull at the entrance, the work of the internationally recognised Ibizan artist, Aída Miró.

The restaurant’s menu features a great range of Mexican dishes. Naturally, tacos feature largely, with lots of different fillings. All the tacos and the burritos are made with maize while the quesadillas are made with wheat flour. Vegetarian and vegan options are available. For those who are wary of Mexican food because of its reputation for being really spicy, Tacosanto has a neat solution: all chilli sauces are served separately in their own bottles, allowing diners to get the “hot spot” just right!

Other mouth-watering typical plates from the Land of the Aztecs include nachos with melted cheese, guacamole, and salad made with nopales, or cactus leaves.

To accompany your meal, Taco Santo has Mexican beers, great Micheladas, various cocktail options - check out their list of Margaritas - as well as an extensive assortment of tequilas and mezcals to wash down your meal with a flourish.

Tacosanto: give your holiday an authentic Mexican boost!
