BBC Radio 1 gets ready to honour three decades of its legendary Ibiza Dance Weekend, starting with a highly anticipated return to 528 Ibiza on Friday 1 August.
For the last two summers, R1 has transformed 528 Ibiza’s open-air dancefloor into a party playground, and this year’s milestone promises to crank up the volume another notch.
The day-to-night extravaganza in question takes place from 16:00 until midnight, and you can always count on R1 to have the hottest DJs on the planet on speed dial.
Tech House music maestro Chris Lake joins the main stage bill alongside summer anthem hitmaker Sonny Fodera and the oh-so-cool Chloé Calliet. Rising ravers Olive F and Coco & Breezy are also on hand to match the Balearic heat with their fire selections.
Over on the R1 Dance Stage, London trio Disciples go under the spotlight, joined by Jess Bays, and breakthrough talents Emily Nash and Zerb.
It goes without saying that you'll catch the R1 gang getting in on the action too. With Arielle Free, Danny Howard, Sarah Story, Charlie Hedges and Ibiza Dance Weekend founder himself, Pete Tong, all in tow. It's going to go off!
More names are yet to be announced, but take it from us, you won't want to wait until then to secure your place on the dancefloor.
Locked in during peak summer season, this is notoriously one of the busiest weekends on Ibiza, and the FOMO is real!
