One such case study is Meduza & James Hype present Our House. The combo has diligently looked after the Club Room at Hï Ibiza on Fridays for David Guetta's night the past two years. They even stepped up to deputise in his absence, at the end of the 2023 season.
Last year, Meduza and James Hype followed it up with a one-off full club takeover at the start of summer.
They were always being primed for bigger things - and now it has come to pass.
Meduza & James Hype present Our House gets its own full season residency in 2025.
Starting 16 June and running for 16 consecutive weeks, the party is charged with The Theatre on Monday nights. The closing party takes place on 29 September.
Joining them is a completely new addition to Hï Ibiza's roster.
After being confirmed to appear at the club's Opening Party at the end of April, Hannah Laing is back in the Club Room for every instalment.
Dundee's finest will amplify the energy of room two, with her abrasive fusion of hard Trance, Techno and uncompromising House selections. The tempo is about to be pushed.
Her first full super-club residency, she's come a long way since she worked seasons DJing at The Highlander in San Antonio's West End. In doing so, Hannah also joins an exclusive club of women DJs who have fronted their parties here, putting her in good company.
