Tomorrow night, Akasha opens its doors for the first time since 5 January. That might only have been 32 days ago, but trust us, it's felt a lot longer! Not only does it return clubbing to party island, but it's significant in other ways. It means the island-wide awakening has started.
Unfortunately, the opening party is sold out (although you might get lucky in the case of any last-minute cancellations, and there's always a handful held back for the door - arrive very early is our advice)
Though it's still a month away, another date at Akasha to look forward to is the return of Seladoria. On Friday 7 March, the party is back with a big guest DJ in Made By Pete.
Based in London, Made By Pete is somewhat of a late bloomer. Despite being active for over 20 years, it's only been in the last couple where he has started to get recognition on an international scale. Two incredible years were capped off with a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix last September.
Made By Pete also had one of the defining tracks of Ibiza 2023, with Horizon Red on Crosstown Rebels.
That was followed up last year by the equally spellbinding Fires, while he also reworked CAMELPHAT's seminal hit, Cola. The long overdue update even made it into the duo's sets.
Alongside label heads Dave Seaman and Steve Parry, Made By Pete promises to take attendees on a journey through some of House music's most evocative releases. We make it a night not to be missed.
Later in the year, Seladoria returns on 30 May, when one of Dave's partners in crime from 3D, Danny Howells, will be joining the fray.
Tickets to the party with Made By Pete, Dave and Steve and the second date are on sale now and available below.
