As the grey days of January roll on, the Ibiza clubbing scene is delivering some much-needed excitement with its fresh for 2025 announcements. The latest buzz? BBC Radio 1 has today unveiled the dates of their legendary Ibiza Dance Weekend, setting the stage for what's set to be a milestone celebration on the island this summer.
The dates in question? 1 to 4 August, so get that Skyscanner app up and running with immediate effect.
This year's throwdown marks a whopping 30 years of the renowned party series hitting up Ibiza. (Feeling old yet? Us, too!). So, although they always deliver a weekend to call home about, you know that this celebratory edition is going to be nothing short of magical.
Last year's weekend programme saw incredible parties at Ushuaïa, Hï Ibiza, Eden and Ibiza Rocks, as well as a spectacular return to the hills of 528 Ibiza. You can expect the R1 team to take over some more of the island's most frolicking venues, delivering top-tier dance music all weekend long.
Let's just remind ourselves of last year's 528 line-up: Armand Van Helden, Ben Hemsley, CAMELPHAT, Jazzy, LF System, Oden & Fatzo and Gorgon City to name a few, all took centre stage. So, while it's still too early for artist announcements for 2025, the dates alone are enough to get us excited for what's to come!
