Top raver, booth infiltrator and our very own AM to PM girl, Lissy Lübeck is back on Ibiza for summer 2024, which means another weekly serving of misadventures in clubland. Here, Lissy shares her thoughts, experiences and inner musings direct from the dancefloor.
A year older, perhaps. But a year wiser? Nah.
If you heard it from anybody else, you'd dismiss it as hyperbole, but Lissy Lü's real life is like that... Partying as a profession is a hard life, but somebody's got to do it!
Mid-May madness
13 to 19 May
Monday
Today, I ventured to somewhere I hadn't been before to indulge in a little bit of luxury at one of the most beautiful places I’ve come across on the island in the three years since I've worked here.
Agroturismo Atzaró, a pristinely preened, traditional yet reimagined finca located in the countryside of Santa Eularia, boasts two stunning swimming pools, gorgeous greenery and gardens, a spa, restaurants and vegetable plots.
10/10 home-grown food, gorgeous cocktails and attentive service.
I also experienced one of the best massages I've ever had too! I felt like a proper princess here. You heard it here first - if I ever get married, this will be the spot I do so.
Tuesday
Usually, I like to spread my party love fairly around the clubs each week. However, I had to make a return to Ushuaïa for week two of Defected to catch Mr Danny Howard in action.
Not only was it to see him, but a creative who found me on Instagram wanted to meet me to gift me a free pair of beautifully designed ear protection, which is also doubles-up as jewellery.
For someone that loves their fashion and as someone who’s also in desperate need of ear plugs for all the clubs I attend, I was super chuffed about this. Check them out yourself @ooftworld on IG.
At 21:00 I headed over the road to the recently re-vamped Tantra, where I had my first gig with the Ibiza Talents crew. I was on a line-up with some of my favourite DJs and producers of the moment including Vito and Joe Vanditti. I was pretty gassed about this.
A quick hour warm-up in the bag, a whole crew of us then headed back across the island to Pikes to catch my girl TSHA in action, as she took over Freddies for the night. The vibes were high both inside and out, and I ended up staying till the end. What a day/night!
Thursday
On Thursday, we were treated to a day out at sea with the Ombra Yachts team. We arrived at San Antonio port to a lovely welcome from our captain, and off we went to Cala Conta, Cala Bassa and some secret caves.
There’s just something so special about being on a boat in Ibiza, surrounded by the clearest waters you’ve ever seen, with a group of your close pals. It was a very memorable day.
Thursday evening was another must-attend club night for me as it was the Do Not Sleep opening party at Amnesia.
Again, many of my favourite DJs were on this line-up including Mason Collective and Locklead. To top it off, a good mate of mine, Blondi, was getting the party started by opening up the Terraza. Her first time playing at the mega club, it has to be said that she absolutely nailed it.
It was packed from midnight and I stayed until the end (shock), and then some… to say I got a little carried away at an after party might be an understatement for this one! You can read about here.
Sunday
A day I've had in my diary for what feels like forever. This was the day that the incredible KEINEMUSIK returned to the island with their treasured kloud at Pacha.
But before the midnight chime struck, I had a friend's birthday to attend at Chi Kee Wun. Apart from a few people, I didn't know anyone before the meal, but I came away having met some lovely new faces who are also on the island for the rest of summer too.
Nearing Pacha at around quarter to midnight, we could see the queue winding its way down the street. Luckily for us, we had entrance through the family and friends doorway, which meant a rather speedy way in for us.
From the get go, it seemed to be at full capacity, but this didn’t stop anyone from dancing the way they wanted to.
Each track was like a trip to a different planet with their unique vocals echoing through the club. Highlights for me were when Thandaza and Les Gout played out. To me, these KEINEMUSIK tunes are unbeatable.
Oh, and I can't not mention Marco Carola casually strolling through the garden with his entourage. I was a little star struck, despite having seen him plenty of times.
Restaurant of the week
If you haven't experienced the food at Casa Maca before, add it to your summer checklist immediately.
Hidden in the hills with incredible views of Ibiza Town, if you like your grilled meats and veggies like me, this is the place for you. To put it simply, but without taking away the magic of the cuisine here, it’s like a very, very posh barbecue.
With incredible service, candle lit walkways and a serene energy about it, it’s the perfect place for any occasion with loved ones. You'll probably even spot some celebrities here too.

ABODE opening party | Eden | Sunday 26 May
Following its successful return last season, Tech House titan ABODE is back at Eden this Sunday, kicking-off the festivities with some of its well known residents, as well as headline performances from wAFF and new kid on the block and one to watch Enzo Is Burning.

Traumer | We Do | get-traum | 10 May
A new one from French Minimal maestro Traumer on his own label get-traum. It perfectly depicts his unique underground sound and just makes you wana bop. He will be taking over TRIP at Club Chinois on three occasions, starting 29 June with get-traum.
If you love this, then this is the party for you.
