Take just one step back from the sandy shores and you’ll find a long and diverse parade of dining and refreshment spots, along with a huge range of budget to high-end accommodation.
A recent surge in investment and development in the area has brought San Antonio Bay to the top of many visitors lists. With easy access to San Antonio Town by bus, taxi, and water taxi (top on our list of travel choices) or around a 40-minute walk along the promenade for those feeling energetic, it's the perfect choice for those desiring a calmer, family-orientated holiday.
The cash injection has given birth to cool, arty hotels, with well-styled interiors and big, bold exteriors that clearly show how the destination will develop. The classic ‘Ibiza pool party’ has not been copied from San Antonio instead, swish hotels with DJs, drinks and a laid-back poolside atmosphere have taken hold.

High End
Currently, there are no 5-star hotels on the Bay. Our selection is of those offering an excellent standard of hospitality.
Can Salia Hotel by Intercorp
Positioned at the Port des Torrent end of the Bay, Can Salia Hotel by Intercorp Hospitality Group lines the rocky seafront. The secluded gardens are home to individual villa apartments, while the hotel offers a range of plush suites along with a gym, spa, garden, and rooftop swimming pools. Their restaurant, the Taste of Salia, serves a delectable Mediterranean-styled menu that's sourced with conscious and sustainable ingredients and is a notable asset to this luxurious paradise.
Paradiso Art Hotel and Grand Paradiso
The bubblegum pink art deco Paradiso Ibiza Art Hotel and its glamorous sister next door the Grand Paradiso are Instagrammer's dreams. With the 'look at me' exteriors and sugar-sweet interiors, they’re a feast for the eyes. Each level of suite oozes style from bed to balcony, with many gazing out onto the artsy pool and sundeck below. To add the cherry to an overflowing cake of coolness, a tattoo parlour, art gallery, outdoor performance area, and poolside DJ are also in residence. Their slogan ‘Where art meets disco’, couldn’t sum it up more clearly.
Amàre Beach Hotel
A block away, the grandiose Amàre Beach Hotel Ibiza sits on the shores of the relaxed and quiet Bou Cove. NYX Hotel Ibiza by Leonardo Hotels
Sitting upon the point of the promenade where San Antonio Town ends and the Bay begins, NYX Hotel Ibiza by Leonardo Hotels, has undergone a recent rebirth bringing with it a sassy and stylish attitude. Expressed through cool art-adorned walls and furnishings, plushly decorated rooms and a cute terrace pool that features pink umbrellas, resembling flamingos next to the blue sea horizon. Its ideal location means the bright lights of San Antonio Town could call just as loudly as the relaxing vibe of the bay.
Hotel Tagomago
Across the beach from NYX, Hotel Tagomago couldn’t get closer to the sea. A well-established hotel, its modern rooms, pool, and palm-fringed terrace blend perfectly into the enclosing beachfront. With so many beaches nearby, you can nip for a dip with ease throughout the day. Enjoy the live music events at night or sit under the stars in peace.
INNSiDE Ibiza Beach
Despite the towering collection of beautiful rooms, the fitness suite, beach access, and colourful decor all contained within INNSiDE Ibiza Beach, it's likely to be Rooftop Nine that grabs your attention. From here the 360-degree panoramic views capture the green hills and sandy shores of the bay, along with unrivalled sunset views. While you're encouraged to relax at the rooftop pool, the DJ and live music will no doubt coax you onto your feet.
Palm Star
Taking the energy up a notch, the management team at The Palm Star Ibiza has taken lessons from their previous projects and created another hot and happening destination for adults only. The hotel offers generously sized studios and apartments, along with a palm-fringed pool to catch the Ibiza rays and a pre-party vibe. Their overly enticing cocktail list is hard to resist, along with the renowned Thai-style menu, and the on-site club Sundara which hosts parties late into the night.
Axel Beach Ibiza
“Hetero-friendly” Axel Beach Ibiza is on a similar wavelength, with its colourful and chic styling, mirrored throughout the range of apartments and rooms. Part of the Axel Hotel Group, it’s a favourite with the gay holidaymakers of Ibiza. Full pampering is encouraged with the onsite sauna, spa and gym. They boast a large sun-drenched pool and a sandy beach front, that lines the hotel just a step away.
Ryans Lola’s
Ryans Lola's - Adults Only is a buzzing base for any young island holidaymaker. Its well-styled hotel offers over 100 rooms with a bustling events calendar and a restaurant offering a burger for every holiday mood. Encouraging a community within their guests, you’ll have a whole new gang of friends by the end of your stay.
Els Pins Resort and Spa
A grand entrance welcomes you into, Els Pins Resort & Spa where you will discover its beautiful grounds and 4-star accommodation. With a garden and sea-facing room, two restaurants, a spa, and a large swimming pool it is a family-friendly resort, that's just a stone's throw from the action. With such a privileged position, the sunsets from here are outstanding.
Romeo’s Motel & Diner
Capturing our hearts, Romeo's Motel & Diner has a Miami beach vibe to it. With Baywatch red tiles surrounding the pool and retro Americana styling throughout the rooms, it harks back to the good old days of the USA. There’s even a wedding chapel for those needing to declare their love and a 'Play Room' with a pole dance bar, leopard print sofas, and a DJ booth for the post-nuptial celebrations. Guests are also permitted to use the facilities at the Grand Paradiso, just around the corner.
Camelina Suites by Intercorp
Finally, we arrive at the Camelina Suites by Intercorp Hospitality Group, a tranquil aparthotel in Port d’es Torrent. Its pretty grounds offer a choice of spacious and fully equipped bungalows or apartments. Depending on your mood there's a choice of two swimming pools, along with a terrace bar where the Casa Grande restaurant will help you relinquish any feelings of hunger and thirst. With an outdoor playground, kids’ room, and beach nearby it's a great option for those seeking a family-centric home from home.

Our next selection may offer more wallet-friendly options, but all are still great choices for your stay in Ibiza.
Apartamentos La Kiki
In prime position for Bay and Town access, Apartamentos La Kiki is just 30 metres from Playa des Pouet and the famous Chiringuito Es Puetó, where you can dine with your feet in the sand. The modern and brightly decorated apartments have a pool and sun deck, and the rooms are all fitted with outside terraces and kitchenettes. However, the adjoining La Kiki Cafeteria makes those lazy days much easier.
Coral Star Apartments
Clean and fresh, the popular The Coral Star offers 3-star accommodation for budget prices. With two large pools, plenty of activities for kids and safe spaces for them to play in, it is an excellent family-orientated offering. And, if you fancy an excursion, the bus stops nearby will whisk you to the gorgeous beaches of the West Coast.
Aparthotel Nereida
Aparthotel Nereida is the budget option for those desiring beautiful sea views and easy beach access. This aparthotel offers studios and fully equipped apartments that are complete with all necessities for families and groups of friends.
