Headlined by Roger Sanchez, Mark Knight and Gok Wan, Clockwork Classical was already shaping up to be one of summer 2023's monster parties. Now it has added a further lot of names that give a real local feeling to proceedings at FECOEV Recinto Ferial on Sunday 23 July.
Clockwork Orange first stepped foot on Ibiza in 1994, one year after its inception.
Since then, Ibiza and Clocky have exchanged plenty of memorable moments - the highs and the lows. Clockwork is as Spanglish as you can get! The thirtieth anniversary feels like the ideal opportunity to welcome some local talent and island-based DJs into the fold.
Joining the naranja tribe is certifiable Balearic legend DJ Pippi (pictured). Pippi is one of the most time-honoured DJs Ibiza has to offer, best known for his exploits in Pacha's Funky Room.
Equally respected is David Moreno. The radio personality and CEO of Pure Ibiza Radio is a former Space resident, bringing a wealth of experience to Recinto Ferial.
Fittingly neatly into the live aspect of the party, Iban Mendoza is a DJ and electronic musician who is often found wowing crowds at Las Dalias with his performance.
Those three aren't the only additions. Flash head honcho Guy Williams and Lío's Little Disco frontrunner Mr Doris also join, while Melon Bomb's Scott Gray plays back-to-back with Andreas.
Michel Manzano, Mikey Slade & Danny Oliver and Dax On Sax are the other new faces.
Now Clockwork Orange's 30th Anniversary has a real international feel about it.
Of course, the star attraction will be the 30-piece live orchestra which draws talent from both The Royal Philharmonic and London Symphonic orchestras. Conducted by Matthew Freeman, the band will recreate Clockwork Classics from the last 30 years at sunset.
Frankly, nothing of this scale and ambition has graced Ibiza's shores before and it is sure to go down in the history books.
