Defected regroups for PRESS.PLAY Ibiza edition

A charitable fundraiser for Ibiza Food Bank.

Since the start of the pandemic, Defected has led the way with its live streams. Now the party and record label is returning for a special Ibiza edition of PRESS.PLAY.

Streaming on Twitch, proceedings kick-off at 13:00 CET on Friday 16 April, running until 21:00 CET.

During the eight hour broadcast, viewers will be asked to donate to Ibiza Food Bank.

The charity has been a lifeline for families living on the island, whose livelihoods have been hit by the crisis. You can pledge anytime at this link.

Island-based DJs Manu Gonzalez, Jason Bye, Andy Baxter and Melon Bomb will all be playing.

Eden's rooftop and its revamped main room, plus the Wild Corner at Hï Ibiza will be used as filming locations.

David Penn joins from the Spanish mainland, while acid house originator Danny Rampling streams from London and Roger Sanchez via Miami.

PRESS.PLAY allows DJs to experiment with how they play with no genre constraints.

Already Defected has helped raise $1.2 million for the World Health Organization's Covid-19 response fund and £90,000 for UK mental health charity Mind.
